The IATC is a non-profit, scholarly organization.
Its objective is to promote the study of the Czech language and culture around the world.
IATC is affiliated with the:
- American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages (AATSEEL),
- Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES),
- National Council of Less Commonly Taught Languages (NCOLCTL).
IATC publishes a bilingual peer reviewed bulletin Czech Language News, featuring research articles, best teaching practices, interviews, book reviews, member information, and events announcements in Czech and English.
